Darcy finds out that there are more scary things than school bullies or abusive foster parents, when she meets a warlock who sells her soul to a demon. Everything that Darcy knows is taken from her, she loses her humanity for a demon who has it wrapped around his wrist. Scozahlu, a young demon who hunts down other demons in his spare time is bound to Darcy by a warlock with questionable morals.
