I was heading back to our lunch table when I hit something...more like someone, hard. I was lucky to not have fallen.

All the contents of my tray had fallen to the floor and I hastily picked them up. Why me? I was about to mutter an apology when I heard it.

"Watch where you're going." His voice boomed and I raised my head so fast I would have gotten a whiplash. I barely noticed that the whole cafeteria had gone quiet.

I looked up at him and I couldn't believe my eyes. How? When? There were so many unanswered questions roaming in my head. It seemed he was thinking the same thing as his eyes immediately softened when they met mine.

"Darcy." He said like he couldn't believe it. I couldn't breathe. I had to get out of here. I hurriedly tossed my ruined lunch into the trash and scurried out of there and into the school halls. My heart was racing.

Tears threatened to spill from my eyes as I rushed to the bathrooms. Just when I was putting the peices of my life back together something had to go wrong. Daniel had to come back. I am so done for.
