It's been almost a year and a half since John's old friend Ash had moved to america for her fathers job, she left at the wrong time as a week latter John was betrayed by one of his best friends. He missed Ash everyday since he watched her bored the plane to her new life. Now in his new school, where he plays a cripple, he finds himself falling for the king. But what will happen when Ash makes her grand return, she is a horrible influence on John and extremely sadistic but she cares very much about him. Ash knows of his powers but understands why he doesn't want to use them, she does everything in her power to protect him, as he is her true king. After confronting Arlo and Remi in a courtyard and instigating a fight unwinnable for them, John feels the immense pressure of a power thought to be permanently gone. Facing a fight with his former friend, Seraphina, John is forced into a situation where he truly embraces the old. Unready and unwilling to change yet, John stands his ground with his years of experience propping him up to face the goddess who wants to talk. John knows what Seraphina wants, he's just not willing to give it. (This story is a take on the alternate future that could have been in Unordinary had John been more stable during his fight with Seraphina. This piece will delve into the idea of the final fight not being a simple solution where Seraphina breaks through to John, but starts an entirely different series of events with a slower path to reconciliation.)
