Shmuel's Dream Memory and a Visit at the Fence

This work is pure fiction and the characters are based off of John Boyne’s The Boy In the Striped Pajamas. Some pages come straight from the book.

Earlier this year in one of my classes, I had to write a chapter from a book that we read from a different character's point of view. I had chosen The Boy In the Striped Pajamas because it was truly a beautiful book that had a different perspective on World War II. Anyway, I chose Shmuel as my character because he was the boy in the striped pajamas. We never learned much about his backstory and I wanted to explore it, while leading up to events described in the story.
