In the year 2064, a new drug is released to the public, Remeforn, for the purpose of curing AIDS. It was only a matter of time before the whole world was hooked on it. But things took a turn for the worst when the drug caused a devastating mutation in the minds of its users, causing them to grow the desire to attack and devour others around them. Mothers eating their children, husbands eating wives; civilization was left in ruins. The only ones who survive are those who can fight and are immune. Luckily for Rox, she's both. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. But she has the most in common with 7. They're both seen as too dangerous and her powers like her sister's are awaken and work because of their emotions. She's more dangerous though because she can mirror her siblings powers. She trained herself her dad never cared about her. He always cared about his non biological children more. And he only cared enough about them to train them but he didn't care about any of them. She was born the same day they were and the same age. She wasn't born the same way though. It was more like a science experiment. He gave a serum to get the one person he trusted to have her and made it timed to the day. Maybe that's why she has their same powers or why she's more dangerous. The only thing that ever worked on her was.... I'll tell you later. But none of them remember she has powers.
