She Wolf

Her past was haunting.
His past was grand.
She ran from it.
He adored it.

During one fateful night when she was making her way back to her cave deep in Black Forest with her kill locked in her jaw. As she slows her pace to stop she changes her form back to human and takes the knife that been hidden in an opening in a huge red wood tree. When she kneels by the her kill, she presses the blade against the hog's carcass and slices downwards to the tail, before she can make the cut to remove the inside she hears the echo of paws' pounding against the undergrowth, going closer by the second.
As she turns in the direction that she hears the pounding. She see a wolf in the distant. She takes a deep breath, and takes in the scent of the unknown wolf. Her eye's widens horror.
