Mia isn't like most other kids in her town of Springville, Minnesota. She has a secret.
Mia belongs to an unknown group of people called aniforms. Aniforms are people who can turn into an animal, and are kept hidden in a secret school and community to hide from the government, which is growing increasingly aware and suspicious of the aniforms' existence.
When Mia gets sent off to this community, she realizes she isn't the only one who can transform- she is a fox. Mia and her new friends must help keep the community hidden from public eyes- and possible attack.
