Written in the view of a Christian teen, it's a typical story about a kid with highschool friends, with the twist of her life being flipped upside down by an impossibly deep lie, rooted for twenty years beneath her family's picture-perfect foundation. Now questioning everything but her faith in God, unsure what's right or wrong. Stuck in place by uncertainty as her mentally ill father is forced from her life, trying to get into college and start her future but, also needing to get her siblings and mother out of their old life to start anew somehow.
But, a rather cute wrench gets thrown into those gears when Wynn is walking down the street one day with her boyfriend, Hunter, she spots a beautiful highschool student.
"Shit."
(This is a draft of a story idea I had about a girl named Wynn. It's my first time writing on Wattpad so please, bear with me...)
Elliot's partner was his whole world, but after Allan's death, his ghost haunts Elliot's dreams. Everyone tells Elliot to move on, but he isn't sure he can.
*****
It's been a year since the love of Elliot's life, Allan, passed away. Everyone thinks he should have recovered after that much time, but Allan still haunts Elliot every night. He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart. But the question Elliot has to face chases him through his monotonous days: is mourning Allan with everything he has truly living?
