This story follows the events of what happens in My Hero Academia, but doesn't have the same mindset (idk if that's the right word sorry!). Izuku Midoryia falls into a deep depression because of Katsuki Bakugo's bullying. When Bakugo realizes he like Izuku he doesn't know how to fix the mess he made.
(Bakugo is a lot different from canon Bakugo at many times, if you don't wanna read that skip this story.)

Izuku Midoriya was bullied and looked upon as a waste of space for the majority of his life. It only got worse when everyone found out that he was quirkless. From then on the kind-hearted soul started to turn dark. He was given a chance to redeem himself and with this chance he plans to make Bakugo suffer the same way he made him suffer. This is basically a "what if" story of what would have happened if Izuku had never talked to All Might. This story progresses kind of slowly so it's going to be a bit long. Life's been cruel to Izuku Midoriya. After having to bury his wife and daughter, his only other child gets put into a quirk-induced coma that they can't wake her up from. He shuts down, ignoring the outside world, refusing to let anyone in. He's terrified of the consequences it could bring if other people entered his life. The only person he can't push away is Bakugo. No matter how hard he tries, Bakugo keeps coming back, just trying to make sure Midoriya stays alive. When Bakugo's had enough, he forces Midoriya out of his bed and tries to help him through the pain. During bakugo's horrible bullying during middleschool, Izuku started cutting himself, drinking, and smoking. Once his mom saw his cuts she made him stop. She never found out about his addictions though. He continues to drink and smoke even now that he is in UA. He cuts every once in a while. But Izuku is slowly falling in love with his bully and doesn't know what to do.
