What was so crazy about a 17 year old, mute werewolf who loved to keep to herself?
What was so out of the ordinary about her, that there was always a rumor going around about her?
Even with my confusion...I would always smile at her but she would cross me and keep doing what she was doing before.

He is the guy that everyone looks up to because

He, despite his intimidating aura, is always the one at the receiving end at the stares.

He carried himself with a confidence so high, any normal person would drown in such superiority that he has.
Bailey Luine is quite the opposite.
She is the girl no one speaks to. They don't even try. She keeps herself in drowning hoodies and doesn't speak. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't.
She's mute.
This small fact makes her stand out. But not in a good way.
Leroy's name isn't the only one that floats about in the rumors.

Once Maya decides that she has a mate, she is not going down without a fight because she is not a possession to be owned. ~~~ (Maya) I was shoved against the lockers and looked into the most beautiful green eyes ever. I mentally sighed and stared at him. The person they belonged to said "Mine!!!!" and buried his head into my neck and I could feel his nose moving against my skin and my neck was met with sparks, was he SNIFFING ME?! "You motherfucker, I am not a possession and I do NOT belong to anyone. So if you could move your sexy body out of the way, I would appreciate it. Also don't sniff people you weirdo." I tried to push him away but he growled at me and held me so I couldn't move. I brought my leg up and kicked him in the family jewels. Bending down I whisper in his ear, "don't mess with me sweetheart and never call me yours." He growled lowly. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. I calmed down more as he picked up my small frame and held me close before whispering into my ear, "What has happened to you little one?" *~*~*~* Celeste has always been running. When she was little a group of rouges killed most of her pack and the remaining wolves ran, including her. Over the years they have slowly split off until it is only her and her mother running. When the rouges once again find them her mother spared her own life to keep her beloved runt safe. She ran, but eventually she could no longer run for her tiny body hadn't had the energy. Now she has been found by a new pack, The Paramount pack, and she is surprised when she finds her mate. "Who's there," I can't breath. I'm always looking over my shoulder ever since- I can't think about the now. I have to run but where, back to Jake? No I can't, everything is different now. "Sapphire!" I call out, but my call is lost in the night. I have to protect her. I have to save one, just one. Maybe that will be enough to clean the blood off my tainted skin. What if they get her? She'll... Change... I look up at the moon, could she not have heard my howls? Of course she did. She always did. I can hear the other wolves in the forest. Soon I too would be engulfed by the beast. I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose.
