Of Witches and Crows (ONC Entry)

Mothers told tales of Arianrhod's Grove to their children. Told them not to go in there on Calan Haf, how the witch will turn them into birds, and why no one traversed the road there. What they did not know was how real their tales were.

When two lovers escaped their gilded cages in a bid for freedom, they took that path. One witch took one and turned her into a bird and the other took the other one as a weapon against her counterpart. What the girls thought was an easy road to freedom became entrenched in the forgotten magic of their land.
