This is a 'Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments' Fanfiction...During Season Two because I think that it's the best one so far (haven't gotten to season three so far, but I'm close).

Clary and Simon were having a nice time enjoying themselves, but then a series of screeches, a portal opening in the middle of the institution, and a creature that they have never seen before messes all of that up. Then they start to ask questions, and strange things start to happen. Unconscious and badly hurt they bring the creatureback to the Institution, and begin to try and find-out what it is, but it's going to be a-lot harder than what they think it's going to be. As an ancient creature, something like it hasn't been discovered in many, many thousands of years, and still it is older than that.
