She has reaped souls as long as she has been alive, but when she is asked to reap the soul of seven year old Emmie Roods, a cancer patient dying in Warsaw Mercy Hospital, she takes a moment to contemplate her life as a reaper and what she deems right and wrong and just who Death really is.

Death is no stranger to Everlee. She's escaped death quite a bit in her lifetime but at some point, the running has to stop. Diagnosed with Stage III Sarcoma, 22 year old Everlee was prepared for death. She said her goodbyes. She accepted her fate.
