Sometimes I think too much. Sometimes I feel too much. Sometimes I say too much. But sometimes I can't think. Sometimes I can't feel. Sometimes I can't speak. I don't know what I'm doing till I've done it. I don't know who I've hurt until they're gone. Things don't make sense anymore.

16 year old Peyton Hanna has been a patient in the Sinclair Psychiatry Unit since she was 13. Diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies, she's on lockup. Isolated from any normal outside experiences, she's determined to find a way out and venture into the world she can barely remember. When she finally escapes to what she thinks will be peace, she finds chaos. Until she meets Spencer, a boy she meets in an alleyway. Any simmer of joy, hope, and happiness seemed just like a dream, until they met. With the help of her trouble minded best friend Maxine, all she wants to do is explore.
