A young cat named Dustpaw is confronted by another cat who he is related to. This cat is a part of him who is for the Darkforest and he tries to get Dustpaw to join the darkforest but secretly two other forces are at work trying to stop the evil cat.
Dustpaw-Young apprentice to Nightclan. He is a tanish gray Tom with striking icy blue eyes, is always in conflict due to two cats intertwined to him
Cassius-Gray Tom with darker gray markings, also has dark red eyes. Died fighting Jin at the river under a blood moon. He is a Darkforest cat and is Dustpaw's evil side
Jin-A tan cat with orange markings and deep blue eyes. Is the brother to Ginger who he hopes is alive. He is in starclan and is Dustpaw's good side.
Bladepaw-A silver-blue Tom with pale silver eyes. He is the only cat who can keep Cassius and Jim from tearing each other apart and are kept in control. A very close friend to Dustpaw & Fidgetpaw.
Fidgetpaw-A small ginger & white She cat with a white chest, muzzle, paws, underbelly, and three white spots on each flank. She also has emerald green eyes and is a close friend to Dustpaw & Bladepaw
