Bulletproof

I looked around at the bloody corpses that were once my family, my shoulders trembling with the sobs passing through my body. Glancing around, I knew that I was utterly alone, again. Steeling myself, I decided that this is not going to be my life anymore. It's time I fought back.

The smell of gun smoke burned my nose as they continued to fire at me, but I wasn't bothered. They always forget that I'm not like the others. I'm bulletproof.
