Paper Hearts

It's not always easy being a twin. You're always being compared to the other and expected to do just as well as them and be just like them. It's great if your kids, but when you grow up and have a mind of your own the routine gets old. Growing up we always got along. But because I'm the younger one I'm always treated like I'm a child, making me resent my older twin. My entire life I've always been told, "Why can't you be more like your twin?" "Act like your twin." Twin. Twin. TWIN! Sometimes I wish I could be born again as a single child.
