Sherlock Holmes never considered himself the type to ever fall in love. "Alone is what I have. Alone protects me." Or so he thought. When a certain woman walks into his life, Sherlock finds his view to be changing. Elizabeth Watson, younger sister of John, is an investigative journalist who just returned to London after spending years traveling. Once she is reunited with her older brother and meets the consulting detective both of their lives are turned upside down when they realise there's something pulling them together.

No one will tell him why he's all alone and how he is so incredibly smart and keen, but he is determined to fall headlong into the boys life. An odd longing to find the dark secrets underneath.
