After the death of his beloved Malibu, Anubis must learn to quickly take on leadership for his herd. But once he crosses paths with his uncle Darius's herd, he rejects becoming Liege. Darius then takes on his herd and for a while all live in harmony....but peace does not last long...
From the Land of Daemon, new horses come forth, but bearing men. A strange attack is set apon the horses dwelling in peace and so against their will they are taken far from home into the dark.
Soon Anubis will learn that just being a horse of the wild is not a simple title. With the loyalty of friends, and the love of family, Anubis will learn to define untamable for himself, and for the rest of the world.

I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground.
