The promise sealed with our lips; it was like silk in the wind - floating, broken, yet tough. We met in our first year of high school. He saw my contempt but silently continued cleaning. In our second year, he kneeled in front of me while enduring the ridicule of others, "Can you beat me up to vent your anger, and forgive me?" From then on they had several encounters: that horrible wound in physical education class, the guilt of the one wearing the 3/4 pants, the bruised and battered body that showed itself in front of my eyes, that carried the trembling me....... In our third year, we fell out because of the anger from being betrayed - but now that I think about it, how could that have been betrayal, why did he dare to be friends with me? Even though it was because of my rejection that he once again got beat up, what hung on his lips were still "I was the one who lied to you, it's my fault for making you angry." Shi Yan couldn't help but lift his head up and control the heat in his eyes, while his ears were still ringing from Hei Nuo's words that were filled with gratitude, "You are the one who treats me the best!"

"I wouldn't mind watching you. Maybe we could tan together this summer." He suggested. "Without having tan lines." I could feel the smirk playing on his lips. I lightly slapped his chest. "Don't ruin my mood with your cockiness." "I think I made it a lot better." "Well, keep going and you'll have to deal with your boner yourself." I teased. "Why does it always come back to my boner?" He asked with a smile playing on his lips. "Because it's just so huge." I said absentmindedly. "Is it now?" He raised a brow at me. I stripped myself away from him and pouted as I folded my arms across my chest. "That's not what I was supposed to say." "Hmm," He nodded. "What were you supposed to say then?" "That it's just as annoying as you." I laughed. SUMMARY: After the death of her father, Blake moves in with her estranged mother and twin sister. Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not? Give it a few chapters, nobody gets the hang of writing their first book immediately. It gets better story wise and writing wise, I promise. HIGHEST RANKING #1
