In almost every story a person can pick up or click on has the same generic description: (insert name here) is just an average (girl or boy) then go on to describe someone who is anything but ordinary and continue onto the next part of the description which suggests a significant other who drops into their lives and changes their lives forever… well this story is nothing like that...
Kort-Anne Wyne (Kort) is not ordinary she’s psychic and her significant other is not only her best friend since birth but he’s not exactly her significant other. Gideon has no idea how madly in love with him she is, nor does she intend to share that bit of information with him. On top of the craziness of just being Kort there is the whole living with six other siblings and two parents who think the way to manage seven children is with freedom of expression and a talking circle. A new group of people have started showing up in her dreams and visions. Kort feels strange attracted to them, as if she belongs with them. So when Samantha Ritchert and her cousin Campbell Vincent appear in her History class seeming to have just walked out of her visions Kort is thrown for a loop.
Kort barely manages to make it through an entire day without succumbing to the madness that is her life how will she manage when secrets about her past and dreams come into the light, completely shattering her very existence.
