Luna Song believes she is an American girl at heart. She dresses the same way as the other kids, with her skinny jeans and crop tops that result in a heavy scolding about modesty from her mother. She speaks English in public and leaves her broken Chinese at home. She brings her sandwiches to school, but leaves her bowl of rice and a pair of chopsticks.
