Altean witch

One moment Shiro was a parent mourning over the loss of his lover, while holding his twins close. The twins were crying and asking questions. To many questions to ask if you were wondering how he felt about it. He remembers trying to explain to the children why their other parent wouldn't be coming home with them.
Why they had to burry daddy in the backyard instead of a graveyard like Grammy.
Why they had to pretend like daddy never existed.
And most importantly, why they must hide their pointed ears in public.
Then what felt like a few second s later they were locked in a ship, looking a purple skinned male with the same pointed ears and markings as his dead lover. That is until a beautiful tan skinned male covered in freckles walks in introducing himself as a witch whom wants to know why the twins seem to be ridden with something called quintessents.
Shiro doesn't know how but, he knows he has to escape. Otherwise the kids are as dead as their father.
