Xandria Honeycutt has a fairly normal life. She studies, gets good grades, all the usual things. Sure, she doesn't have almost any friends, but friends are overrated anyway. Right? She moved out of her parent's house as soon as she could, and she's looking forward to an illustrious life at college next year, just like she's planned since she was 10.
But remember what we said about only being 'fairly normal'? We meant that. Because, well, how normal can you be when you have everyone else's thoughts crowding around in your mind 24/7?
Xandria's plan is to just ignore this shameful ability of hers until she can find some way to get it fixed, but when she sees something she's not supposed to, her perfect life is thrown into chaos.
What will happen to this strange girl when she's thrown into a school for superheroes?

Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.Concluída
