Short Story I- Military Conscription

In every story the setting changes, the circumstances change, they do not. Fate has pulled Cypher and Scarlett Locke from one another in every possible reality imaginable. They will never find each other again. Despite how hard they try, they will never feel the warmth of each other's embrace. Through these trials and tribulations, someone will fail to continue to bring in the breath of life. One of them will die, despite their every effort to stop it. What will these soulmates go through to find each other again? What will they do when they come to terms with the inconceivable fact they will always be apart?
