His green eyes stop storming but never looked at her easily, his eyebrows furrowed as he waited for an answer. Clio hadn't noticed he'd dropped the tight grip of her wrist, and breathed hoping to inhale some knowledge.
She could smell a mix of smoke and aftershave, alluring her into his eyes.
"What am I?", she replied.
To be fair she wasn't playing some mind games, what did he mean by this. As in she knows what she is, Romeos brother, or possibly he knows what my friends are like, or possibly he knows shes lonely. She looked at him quizzically, for what she truly was he couldn't know, not if he was from here.
"I don't smell it on you. Its not running through your veins and pumping around your heart. If the room was silent I wouldn't even be able to hear your heart beat, you don't make me want to rip you apart."
