midoriya izuku has felt love, he's felt joy, he's felt anger, and he's felt sadness. he could recount every feeling from every single block, shop, and park around his hometown. and that was the problem. he needed to get away from it all-to escape the constant ache, the constant reminder of his last love.
so, he leaves his hometown and painful memories and moves in with a high school friend, kirishima eijirou, and his three bandmates-kaminari denki, a ditsy blond with a knack for mischief and getting electrocuted a little too often, ashido mina, a bubbly girl with cotton candy hair and always able to make anyone and everyone laugh, and bakugou katsuki, an angry blond with the ferocity of a feral beast and makes midoriya feel something he's never felt before.
a quirkless!au bkdk fic with some mutual pining, a moderately-paced burn, and some heart-wrenching moments.
