To celebrate New Years Day, Katya and her parents stayed in their warm home located in Moscow, Russia. They danced and listened to the radio, even did some karaoke. Katya played the piano for her Father, Fedyenka Petrov, and her Mother, Agrafena Smirnov. Until the first bomb went off at Miss Tanner's small apartment complex two streets in front of them. That bomb killed 28 people as soon as it hit her street. The only thing being said on the Radio was a man talking about Russia declaring War on America and other countries dropping bombs on them.
