"I-I love you, Adrien!" I blurt out. I can feel my cheeks turn red. I stare into Adrien's emerald green eyes. He looks as surprised as I am. I knew this was a mistake. Normally, I'd find peace and comfort in his loving eyes, but none of that is there anymore. I shouldn't have confessed my feelings yet. I can hear my heart pounding in my chest and my pulse crashing in my ears. I can hardly breathe. "Marinette, I'm sorry..." Adrien's voice trails off.

This story is told in the point of view of Marinette. After a lot of convincing, Marinette finally gathers the courage to confess her feelings to Adrien. She does so, but things don't turn out as she expected. If things couldn't get worse she begins to notice that she has symptoms of a rare but deadly disease known as the 'Hanahaki Disease'. Will Marinette be cured or will things take a turn to the worse?
