They say that all wounds heal with time, but Charlie Ward is having trouble believing it. Charlie moved to Liverpool in hopes of starting a new life, but dark secrets from her past continue to haunt her. While trying to make a positive change, she meets troublemaker John Lennon, a member of a new band called The Beatles. He's a boy with lots of charm and a very bad reputation. Despite warnings from friends, neighbors, even John's band mates, their complicated relationship threatens to lead Charlie back to her old ways of drugs and danger. Set in 1963 Liverpool.
