Murderers Sleep On Quiet Streets

If a waking child's wail echoed through the neighborhood, if the wind rustled leaves and tipped a teetering bird's nest from its branch, if a car came to a screeching halt just a second too late, if a carefree somebody whistled on a late-night walk down the street, it wasn't on this street. This was a quiet street. Dustany sleeps on this quiet street.
