By definition of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word DECEPTION is "the act of concealing the truth." The definition could apply in two different ways depending on how you see it. One of them is hiding the truth from someone else. The other is hiding the truth from yourself.

Growing up, Luna shied away from being the center of any attention. She much preferred her own company over the other mean students in her class.

As a teenager, she had never been part of the popular crowd that went to parties. Instead, she had her small circle of friends and kept mostly to herself.

So how, now as a young adult, could Luna have possibly gotten involved in so much drama? She had never set out to make her life this complicated. But, admittedly, she did secretly love it all.

Her life was never the same after first meeting two boys at a Halloween party.
