"Our kingdom was once beautiful, but now the towers are everywhere. They say that Queen Rapunzel has lost her mind--and I believe them. Years after the original tale of Rapunzel took place, the kingdom--left to the grief-stricken Queen after her husband's death--is falling apart. Bird's nothing but a girl from the north, but when someone she cares about is taken by the mad Queen's soldiers, she'll stop at nothing to save them. What would have happened if Rapunzel had not left the tower following the events of the beloved Disney movie? How would mother and daughter have faced the inevitable and growing threat of the mysterious black rocks? A revisiting of the adventures of the golden-haired princess and the mysteries of her life. An original story but : characters and places do not belong to me, I have simply told the story of Rapunzel (Disney) in a more terrifying and distressing version of the original.
