America, the missing personification of the world of nations. Finding out about the personification at a gala no less....... who would of guessed America had a personification, and a woman one at that. Imagine the surprise on the nations faces at finding out the World Superpower is a female personification! It isn't that woman don't exist but most thought it would be male! [So hi again, probably won't post this ever but if I do HI! I've been on a small writing craze along with reading craze about America not having a personification so why not join 'em? Also, this is basically a crossover between Countryhumans and Hetalia! Hetalia names belong to their creators unless mentioned, state names belong to me and Lectwist's! *This is a series story! (Previous title: "Sunshine - A New Dawn for Remus Lupin") Remus Lupin survived a war, raised a son, and went back to teaching. He wasn't planning to fall in love again-especially not with his new best friend. Mary Scamander is brilliant, warm, and just chaotic enough to keep him on his toes. But grief is complicated, and feelings are messy. Luckily, Teddy has a plan. Or many. (Unfortunately, most of them are disasters.) NOTES: This story is a remake for my fanfiction "A New Dawn". 1. This my lightest fanfic ever, despite it's sad first chapters. 2. Please, bear in mind that English's not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes or errors. 3. I don't usually go against canon. However, the idea of Lupin surviving, even with his spirit appearing to Harry, fits perfectly with the concept of a coma and could have happened. We can fit it into canon. I absolutely adore Tonks with all my heart, but I've had a crush on Remus Lupin ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban almost 20 years ago, before seeing the film. Back then, I used to write fanfics (during classes!!! Oops! Even so, I still got good grades! haha) about Remus Lupin and a character entirely inspired by me, called Mary Hallow. In one of those fanfics, set in the Marauders' era and called "Memories of a Marauder Wolf" -which I'm currently trying to rewrite, but it hasn't been easy-I worked through my teenage traumas with the story I wrote. Although nowadays I only read and write 'Remadora' fanfics (Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks), I decided to revisit Mary Hallow to work through my adult traumas (or as I like to say, 'exorcise my demons'). So, even though this Mary Hallow no longer has a certain issue that defined her in my older fanfics, many of the things in the story are-once again-things I personally experienced. He had left his stuff behind due to an emergency back at his home, and so; the remaining nations were appalled at finding something that he'd been writing in. And unfortunately, curiosity killed the cat. Many of the others began to read the pages, which led them all to realize that Alfred was a whole lot different than what they'd thought he'd be, for being the personification of the United States. Several twists and turns begin to crumble, as a hidden secret between Arthur, Matthew, and Alfred comes to light. While Matthew descends into mental chaos- the rest of the nations manage to take back the journal, only to find out some horrible secrets the American has about them.
