Fading Dawn: The New Age of Magic

Since the 2012 magic phenomenon, Kirby Ignazio has dreamed of using magic to save the lives that modern medicine can't. Magic can make the impossible possible and if it was around any sooner his dad might still be alive.

Kirby is a freshman at Kebler University studying under his hero Bastian Draxler in the first magical studies program in the world. From his very first class it was clear that Draxler might not be the hero he thought.

Draxler pulled him to the side and showed him a symbol in his journal that has been torturing Kirby for months. Nightmares have robbed him off his sleep for months bringing him close a breaking point at the start of the spring semester.

Logan Kirby's best friend teaches him how to use basic magic for time and suddenly the nightmares are gone. Free from his nightmare, life's looking up for Kirby until the February 4th Tragedy in Australia.

In the middle of a horrible rain storm a man with cold blue eyes wearing a hoodie with a huge symbol on his back walked on water.Walking right to the news camera the man declared war on non-magicans by committing the worst crime in history.

Australia was swallowed up by the sea taking the lives of over 25 million with it. The delicate balance in the world has been broken as the world heads to a tipping point. Strangely right before the incident Draxler left Kebler on "personal leave".

Kirby is the only person who knows about the nefarious connection between Draxler and the man who walked on water. Trying to keep the world from completely turning against magicians it's up to Kirby to find the truth and tell the world before it's too late.

As Kirby follows the dangerous path of hunting Draxler, he learns gut-wrenching truths about his family, himself, and the world as he knows it.
