𝙑𝙄𝙑𝙄𝘼𝙉 𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙎 is an optimistic girl. she is cheerful no matter what and believes that one should live their life to its full without any regrets. In short, she is an extravert. she never hesitates before doing something which she thinks is right. Everyone loves and support her. Her small friend circle and family, everything is perfect fine. But then, she is Intrigued by her mysterious neighbour who just moved in. 𝙆𝙔𝙇𝙀 𝙇𝙀𝙒𝙄𝙎 He is different. Different from all other guys. He hates parties and crowded places. He doesn't talk much. And most of all, he always wears hoodies. Kyle doesn't give a shit what people say about him and he doesn't care about anyone. Until, he meets his curious neighbour who is Unfortunately his Classmate too. ⋇⋇⋇ "Last question. Why do you always wear hoodie? how many do you have? Do you have any other colours other than Black and Grey? you should get green-" I cut her off instantly. Why does she talk so much? "That's more than one question." I intervene. Yet she continues, "You should get green color hoodie." she suggests with a grin. "I don't want it." I snap. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. Some of the topics touched on in this story include LGBTQ, loss of loved ones/death, sexual assault, thoughts of self harm/suicide. Some of these are touched on a lot while other are more implied. If any of these topics make you uncomfortable or are triggers for you this may not be the story for you. My intent is not to offend anyone or bring them down by the things written. I simply do my best to stay true to the characters I create. For those of you who are still interested, this story will be a roller coaster of emotions for you. I say that as a fellow reader who loves getting invested in characters and their stories. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. That's not how the real world works, sweetheart. I may look like a damsel, but I'm never in distress. ... She runs, ashamed and tainted. She locks it up in mental storage, but a return to the scene of the crime forces her to confront the past. A series of murders in town points to her bizarre experience.
