How can you explain your life when your mother dies with millions of questions to be answered, your father no longer talks to you, just sits in his room moaning from heartbreak and your only brother gets kidnapped by some freaky bat like creatures. That's the thing you can't because to most people that's not a thing that would commonly happen.

There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Being orphaned at 11 isn't that bad. I mean, your mother dying at home, right in front of your eyes and your dad leaving you to go on a "supposed" hunting trip and never coming back. Yeah, that doesn't faze me at all. Also, being scarred at 10, naw. Might bite you in the ass later, but what can you do about it. Loving your best friend even though your other best friend loves you, that can be a bitch. Learning that your tribe was hiding the biggest secret of your life well, you just need to read to find out.Complete

This story is for my little brother. He was the best man I ever knew, and he died too young. No, he didn't leave this life the way I tell it in this story (it is, after all, a work of fiction), but he might have had things played out a little differently than they did. Childhood sexual abuse is alive and well in America and the larger world as well. Rodney and I lived it, and that basic fact served as the seed that made this story possible. Much of what you are about to read is true. Just as much is pure fiction. You'll get that (in spades) as the book progresses. The idea of another, better life waiting "out there" somewhere is a constant of most religions, but this is not a book about any religion or, really, the afterlife. Babysitter To Lover
A girl has high grades at school and she begins to come to the end of school when a teacher she knows asks her to come and work for him as a babysitter /nanny. She moves into his house and learns that his partner is hardly around. Once she begins to look after the two kids the teacher realises that the kids love her and she loves the kids. But as his partner not being around he starts to fall for the girl even though he knows he shouldn't. He gives her lifts to school for the last few weeks then as he realises he loves her he calls into his partners hotel room as she is in town to only find that she has found someone else and has started again with them. He breaks it off fuming then goes to find the new love of his life and asks her to be his girlfriend. She agrees and then they live their lives freely with his kids and maybe another little one.
