No one has a perfect memory.

You can't exactly remember every detail in your life, or everyones opinions of you. You don't remember when you were born, or any of the kids in your kindergarden class. Hell, you probably don't even remember what you had for breakfast 3 days ago. But if people had a perfect memory and were always calm and constantly thinking everything through, maybe they'd rethink and reverse a lot of things they've done.

Maybe you realize that the person who you least expected to hurt you did it in the past in a blink of an eye behind your back. Your BEST FRIEND could be a backstabber. Maybe you remembered that one time the "nicest girl in the class" glared at you for two seconds and you didn't think much of it, but then you realize shes been spreading nasty rumors about you and she accidentally on purpose tripped you tripped you in the hall. The hot guy you gave your number to could be a stalker, or your mom could have a secret double life as a burglar.

The idea may seem ridiculous but think for a minute, what if it was true?

Sara Parrison was your average teenage girl. But on one innocent night that started out so perfectly ends up being the worst night of your life. When Sara's sister Kiely drowns everyone thinks they know all the details. But what you don't know could really surprise you.

What if you found out your moms been a lesbian all this time and cheating on your dad with your babysitter, or your boyfriends been dating your sister behind your back.

What if you found out that the night you thought your sister had "drowned" she'd been brutally murdered.

For Sara, one day flips her entire life upside down. But maybe if she had a perfect memory she'd be able to realize what was going on so blindly under her nose. If she took a moment maybe she'd realize, Maybe it'd help her find out who killed her sister.

For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

"Did you ever think about perspective? It's a funny thing. People are essentially looking at the same, but everyone sees something different. And I can't help but feel like I see something that isn't suppose to be there. Something...completely out of the picture." People can go through many horrible things and live. Emma Gonzalez knows that better than most, though she would hardly admit to the hell she went through. After spending years separated from her siblings by a tragedy that can't be undone, she is back with her family, starting a new life. New house, new school, new people. She got a chance to start over and she intends to use it for the best. But can she really do that with the shadows of her past always behind her? Noah Knight thought his life couldn't get worse. His love life went to hell and his personal seem to want to follow right behind. He needed a break. But a new school year is here, which means new homework and exams. Yay! Though after discovering the arrival of new kids, he believes things might take a turn. He is proven correct when a blond beauty with unique eyes walks in with her brothers and trouble starts to show it's face to the world. After getting tangled in her crazy world full of art, talking food, soccer and horror toilet, he believes he should have sat this one out. Too late now. Hi guys! This is my very first story, so constructive criticism, pointing out grammar errors and tipos is welcomed. English isn't my mother language, so I would appreciate your help. Warning: This book will involve adult content such as mature language, bullying, child abuse and rape. If there is someone reading this who went through the things listed above, I want you to know that you are not alone. You are loved and very strong to continue fighting, and I'm sorry about everything you went and probably still are going through. If you want to talk with a stranger for a different perspective, my chat is always open for you. SLOW UPDATES!

Now imagine everything changes and suddenly your shoved into a world of deception, lies, and unspeakable evil. Every day leaves you wondering if your going to make it to tomorrow. This is the world our main character, Haley Dobbins, now lives in after three boys walked into her school and her life changed forever. It was clear from the start that there was something different about them, and it wasn't just the fact that they were more attractive than everybody else. It was almost as if their entire presence screamed danger. If only she had listened to her instincts and not gotten involved with them, she could have avoided this. However what she didn't know was that these boys were in fact the spawn of the devil himself and that the moment they walked through those doors their destinies would be forever entertwined whether she liked it or not. They always say that the beautiful ones are the most dangerous. They fool you with their looks and stab you in the back. The things left to wonder about are, will Haley make it out alive? Is she going to embrace her destiny or fight it? Will there be an adventure? And most importantly will she fall in love with one of the three boys or better yet all of them? All these questions can be answered and what better way to do so then through a story. So curl up next to a fire place with a blanket, hot chocolate, and book in hand because things are about to get interesting.

"One body: A death, a suicide, and now a murder. Lunacy is settling over, leaving its fingerprints on them, while breathing down their necks. The warm kiss of air is mistaken for nothing but a midnight breeze, and finger prints not much more than dirt. "Are you worthy enough, huh? Do you think I'm such a fool? You'll die there. Ashton Kahn. Mark my words. You are going to die and your family is going to live a dead life. You know what grief is? Of course, why would YOU know? You haven't been miserable for once in your life, have you? You have always been the super-star, haven't you? Of course you'll die. You deserve nothing but a deadly, rotten grave. You are such a chick, aren't you? Huh. I hate you Ashton Kahn. You are so mean. You think wealth is the world. You think beauty is the world. Don't you find having the best muscles, having the best grades, having the perfect eyes, having the perfect clothes, shoes-" Her words were so powerful, her expression meaner. She meant it. And how right she was. There I was, living a beautiful life. Of course I had no idea what misery is. I'd never been miserable for a second. Hah. She was giving me a lesson. The feeling was so intense, her words ruling my brain, empowering my veins. I was so useless. Have I ever cried? Have I ever thought why people say Life is just a Lie? Did I ever care why was the guy behind the coffee shop shutters crying? Did I ever gave it a second thought what did that guy felt when I called him Bozo? Or what was going on with that girl I heard of whose parents died a day ago? Of course, what was I capable of feeling? And there I had always thought I was the perfect me. The boy who could do anything. The boy who ruled. The boy who lived. Life is just a Lie. And for the first time in ever, I felt it to be so, so real. The reality of this was ever-awakening, it's power would have killed a soul. Life is just a Lie.
