This story sets back to when Emma had Henry in prison, except she keeps him. Neal comes into the picture until their relationship turn sour. Her birth parents gave her up due to them being so young, yet Emma find's them 20 years later and forms a bond. She is become vulnerable and scared.
Eventually she moves away from the place she used to call home and moves to Boston, where her family and friends are close by.
She finds a job in the local café, where her closest friend, Ruby co-owns. She begins to rebuild the life she had in Phoenix until a one handed gentlemen comes to the rescue.
With Neal on her doorstep begging for forgiveness, Emma must choose.
She saved so many friends, but can she save herself?
