It’s quiet here.

It always has been.

Always will be.

Until… a guard make his way to my cell, his hard shoes hitting the concrete floor in a rhythm you wouldn’t know off unless you’ve heard it a gazillion times.

Seventeen year old Cyria has been held captive for sixty-four days in a dark, cold, concrete steal cage. She has been tortured by the Nixion guards who answer to the fearsome leader Salvador. Salvador only wants to rule the empire and rule with eliminating magic from magic uses. What’s the best way to eliminate magic? Murder. Every man, woman and child who possess the gift of magic is sentence to death. But how does one know who possess the magic? Oren, Salvador’s trained magic spotter who recognises magic possesses and murders them. Only it’s not what is all seems. Cyria must give up everything to protect the ones she loves. Who will win the battle between the fearsome ruler of the North, Salvador or the magic uses?
