They hid after they fought the war for California. The furries lost to the humans, causing all to hide. A few years after the war, some furries came out of the hole to seek help. 

Alyssa finds herself with her friend, Taylor, on the world above them. California. They meet new people and find new powers. 

Alyssa finds out from a ghost that she must save everyone in California from the darkness that was in store for them.
