Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

Chloe and Maddie go to the same school as each other, but they aren't exactly friends... They hear that Ricky Garcia will be attending their school in, the upcoming year. All the girls, beside Chloe, are obsessed and want to date Ricky. Chloe thinks he'll end up being a snob just because he's rich and famous. When Chloe realizes that Ricky isn't a snob, she develops a crush on him. But what about Maddie? Well, she won't let Chloe have Ricky, especially if she can't have him for herself! Excerpt- "Are you okay?" He asks sincerely. "Not like you would care Ricky!" I say with anger raging through me. "I do care Chloe, more than you know!" "Well you sure showed it! And you don't know me! You can't care about someone you haven't said more than 10 words too!" I shout then I turn and begin jogging again. Ricky runs up to me to try and argue his case some more. "Chloe I care! I really do! Even if you don't believe me!" "Then where were you? Huh? Where were you when I needed a shoulder? Why didn't you stick up for me? Why didn't you look for me!?" "I should have done all of that, but I didn't want to look like a jerk ditching everyone else at the table who were trying to talk to me!" "That is one of the reasons why I don't date or even socialize with boys! Cause they're all the same! They don't care about feelings, only their image! Even you Ricky!" This time he steps back and an innocent look comes across his face then, I turn and run, this time as fast as I can with tears running down my face.

"You like this, don't you?" Sam grins, running his tongue over his lip ring. "You're turned on by it." "Please," I wave my hand in dismissal. "You are," he accuses, his voice light. He does it again. I can't look away. "Stop." "Why should I? Little Miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder' really does find me irresistible. Who am I to deny her?" Sam's voice has something of an edge to it and my eyes snap to his. "'Little miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder', huh?" I ignore the second part of his jab. "That's right." I lean against my wardrobe, crossing my arms over my chest. "There's only a few people at Ryder I really can't stand, and you're at the top of my list." Sam's eyes narrow on me. "Is that so?" He turns from the mirror and takes a step in my direction. I refuse to back down, tilting my chin up to keep his gaze as he crowds into my space. His eyes hold mine until he's close enough that I can feel the warmth of his breath over my cheeks and his focus shifts to my mouth. He runs his tongue over the lip ring again, and I feel my own lips part slightly as he does it, my breath coming a little faster. My stomach is pulsing with a mix of nervousness and something I'm not totally ready to admit to myself. ---- Logan Grey's a 16 year-old girl with a penchant for Bob Dylan and running long distances. When her father dies suddenly, she and her best friend come up with a scheme to keep her from moving to her grandparents' Ohio estate: two years of boarding at her Connecticut hometown's highly renowned prep school. But a fluke lands Logan in a room with Ryder Academy's hottest, baddest boy and it's pretty obvious they're not going to get along. At least until Sam Evans and his sexy-as-hell lip ring saunter into her life, upending everything she thought she knew. [This story contains strong language and sexual content. You've been warned!]

Violet Hayes never expected her senior year to start with loss. Losing her mother to cancer was heartbreaking, but being sent away to London by a father who couldn't bear to look at her? That was something else entirely. Thrown into the home of her father's best friend, she finds herself living with the Montgomery brothers-Theo, the easygoing and protective one, and Mason, the arrogant, brooding, gorgeous one who makes it painfully clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Mason Montgomery has everything-looks, money, power. But beneath the smirks and confidence, he's spent years battling demons he refuses to name. When Violet walks into his life, soft-spoken yet undeniably strong, she's just another rich American girl-or so he thinks. He's determined to push her away, but she sees right through him. And the more he tries to fight it, the more he finds himself breaking all his own rules. What starts as heated arguments and endless teasing quickly turns into something neither of them can ignore. But just as Violet begins to feel like she belongs somewhere, Mason's world unravels-his mother's dark past comes back to haunt him, his rage spirals out of control, and the walls he built so high start to crumble. When a dangerous encounter at a party pushes them to their true breaking point, Mason is forced to face what he's known all along-Violet isn't just another girl. She's the one person who sees him. And he'll do anything to keep her safe, even if it means fighting against everything he's ever believed. Love was never supposed to be in the equation. But sometimes, the people who are the most broken are the ones worth fighting for the most.
