He sat there gazing out into the inky black of night, fondness swirling in his eyes, moonlight lining his hair with silver, simply breathtaking.
And then he looked at her without hate, or pity...just feeling.
And then he said the words that would change her life forever;

And then she opened her eyes to the world around her for the first time in months, and that's when she saw them. The stars.
