Braver Than I Used to Be

Raymond is Rita's twin, he is older by five minutes and never lets her forget it. He is also her best friend, partner in crime, partner in life, ultimate secret keeper, and body guard. Everything Ray does, she does and that includes hating the same people. There was one-person Ray hated the most and that was the one-person Rita could never really hate, Matthew Picton. After a fight between Ray and Matthew in Junior High School, Rita swore their most secret promise to Ray, she couldn't touch him, look at him or even think of him for as long as she lived. A promise she intended to keep, just like all the promises she made to Ray.
On one fateful night, Rita's life changes when Matthew sits next to her in a movie theater and she can't seem to convince herself to keep her promise to Ray.
Once things hit the fan Rita's life takes a turn and she is unsure if she will be able to handle it.
