Thalia Morgan is a girl who holds a secret that if told to the right people could help her leave her nightmare. A nightmare brought upon her after the death of her mom who was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. That drunk driver changed her life in many ways, but not for the better. Her father becomes consumed by the loss of his beloved wife that he loses himself in alcohol. He becomes so consumed that he turns to abusing his own daughter slowly making himself believe that Thalia was responsible for his wife's death. Thalia only has her best friend, Kathy Markus, to really rely on as she makes Kathy swear to never tell anyone of her nightmare at home.
