Death Row Records, founded in 1991 by Hip-Hop legend Dr.Dre and Suge Knight when on to become the most successful black label in the business, producing some of the biggest artists ; Snoop Doggy Dogg , Warren G, The Lady of Rage, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Danny Boy to name a few. However, the artist that pushed Death Row to new heights was R&B songstress Ramila Hakeem. The Compton (L.A) native was instrumental in the commercial success of the label.
