Malia was the type of girl you would forget you met unless you cared. Now a senior in high school, she's managed to make herself invisible to 99% of her entire high school. That one percent that did acknowledge her existence was literally composed of her step brother, her younger sister and her two best friends.
Pathetic, right? Maybe, but she could care less. She actually thrives not to be noticed by teachers and students - she wasn't really that into being the center of attention.
But that all changes when she accidentally gets drunk at the biggest party of the year and kisses the schools it-boy, who just happens to be dating the most popular girl in school. So when a picture of them kissing is posted onto the internet, everybody knows who she is, and the rumors are worse than the horrible things his jealous girlfriend is doing to poor Malia.

I laugh as I walk down to the shore, holding the heels of my shoes as I walk far enough for the cool water to rush around my ankles. It's funny how life works out. I never pictured myself to be the girl outside the party, thinking about my life choices while I am half drunk but I guess kissing the school's bad boy does that to you. I wonder where I would be if I never met Cleo. If I never became her friend. Would I still have no friends? Would still be playing soccer? Would I have rebelled? I probably would still be drunk right now, I think to myself, and laugh bitterly, but get rudely interrupted. "Put your hands up, you are under arrest." I hear, spinning around and almost falling into the lake, but I save myself and there I see the flashing lights of the police, and a nice one holding cuffs, looking straight at me. Well this isn't good. ~*~ Quinn and Cleo are the best of friends. They do everything together, from sports to parties, to having a weekly girls night only for the two of them. They rule the school, but like any friendship, one is always has more power than the other, and that being Cleo. She made Quinn the girl she is today, because without her Quinn would be the bad girl that her attitude and personality was leading her to be. Cleo saved Quinn from herself. "Make me," I said challengingly. He looked at me daringly, and then suddenly smashed his lips against mine, he sucked on my bottom lip making me let out another moan, I kissed him back, but then he abruptly broke the kiss too soon, leaving me feeling dizzy. "Now go home, or else you won't be able to walk tomorrow." He whispered in my ear. ***** Have you ever been secretly in love with your friend's crush? Well, Bella has. Suddenly having to move from the city to the suburbs is not something Bella could have even imagined. Her mom got married again after years of getting over Bella's dad and now BAM! Bella's whole life is upside down. She now has to live with two immature guys and a toddler, as well as a step-dad, acting as if life wasn't better when her mom and she were cramped in a little apartment baking cookies. Handling her now big family and joining in the middle of the year couldn't have been worse. Oh, wait, there's a reason people warn you to never say "how could it get any worse?" It all starts in history class when Bella's assigned to sit next to the hottest guy in school (a.k.a. the guy her friend likes). How can she keep herself away from that hot body and personality?! Oh and if this wasn't bad enough, poor Bella meets a sassy brat who comes back from the Bahamas, she's pretty, hot, and is head over heels for Bella's history partner. What happens when the brat starts dating him? Jealousy is an understatement of how Bella feels.
