Her name was Éponine, and she wanted to start over." After a chance encounter two years ago, Éponine and Enjolras's paths cross again. However this time will it develop into a relationship, or are the obstacles they face too much?

Jean Valjean leaves behind him his years of slavery and begins a new life. Then he adopts his daughters Cosette and Gabrielle, and his life truly begins. Cosette is innocent. She doesn't like hearing of fighting. She's the opposite of her sister Gabrielle. Gabrielle had her faults. She and Cosette had both had traumatic childhoods. Was she still getting over hers? Enjolras begins a revolution for the people. He wanted things to change for them. Why did he do it though? Courfeyrac was a young student revolutionary. He was in love though. [ I do NOT own any of the characters except for Gabrielle! This is based off partly the novel written by Victor Hugo but mostly from the 2012 film version of Les Miserables. ]

Death couldn't strike him as absolutely paralyzed as life could, which was pathetic, if Grantaire stopped to think about it, because life had nothing on Enjolras. 'My world starts and ends with you', Grantaire thinks. And somehow, because life is cruel and a dark sense of humor apparently comes with the job description, it isn't even a lie. But Grantaire can deal. He can deal because he's dealt before and he's never stopped dealing, and stupid, innocuous things like hearts that beat too fast too loud in certain company, and thoughts that stray too far, and skin that prickles hot when you meet the eyes that greet you in your sleep, can't break a cardboard prince if he believes it hard enough.

When Cosette sees Marius for the first time, she expects to feel something that every girl would when meeting a cute boy, but she doesn't. Then Eponine and Cosette meet. What will happen next? ~ DISCLAIMER: 1. I do not own any of the characters in this story, they all belong to Victor Hugo, I have just made different interpretations of them 2. This story will not be accurate to the real story for various reasons. To avoid spoilers, I will give two. Firstly, Eponine and Cosette are in a relationship and Cosette does not love Marius, and neither does Eponine. Secondly, the beginning of the story takes place about a year before it takes place in the musical and movie version. Marius and Cosette meet in the summer of 1831 and that is also when Cosette and Eponine fall in love. 3. After the first two chapters, the picture will not be of the character narrating the story but of the other character. For example, Chapter 3 will be from Eponine's perspective but will have a picture of Cosette. Same goes with all the chapters after Chapter 2.
