"Do you even have a pulse?" Nico suppressed a flinch. Ironically enough, his heart started beating faster. "What's that supposed to mean?" "I guess you haven't looked in a mirror recently." His eyes narrowed at the blond, maybe after sneaking a glance at his ridiculously thin body in an even more ridiculous school uniform that hung off his bones. "Well, that's none of your business and-" Nico panicked for a moment as he searched his wrist, then tried following the teacher's instructions, until he felt the gentle thrum of life underneath his finger. "There! I d-have one." "Really?" Will grabbed his hand (okay, so it was less grabbing and more of a gentle grazing of his fingers against Nico's wrist) and oh. His eyes blew wide, and his heart pounded in his ears. Why did I let him do that? What do I do with my hand now? Can he feel how fast my heart is going? Future doctor Will Solace hummed, and gave his expert opinion, "checks out, I guess." ~ Or an AU where modern day America is a lot more like rural India and Nico di Angelo has to deal with the threat posed by unconventional, annoying-and cute-blond, Will Solace, to the forged sanctity of his life. As the door opened it closed equally as softly, there was silence and Nico was getting suspicious the person made no noise. Then suddenly felt a sudden pressure being applied to his back and a soft voice spoke, "Morning neeks." The voice was so close to his ear that he felt a chill run up his spine. He tried to push off the bubbly blond but nothing worked so he just let him be and tried to go back to sleep but Will was not having that. "Come on neeks, or We'll be late," Will said as he put his hand under Nico's armpit to hoist him up. He succeed but was met with one of the deadliest glares. *"Che diavolo amico?" Nico spoke out with an attitude, so Will assumed it was bad, but hey he doesn't know Italian. So he just frowned and shot back with his own, *"O te obligo o te levantas tú mismo". Nico didn't understand it Will said it assertively so he took it as a threat and scurried off to the bathroom. Tell Me Pretty Lies
From the second you're in this world they tell you what is fair. What questions your allowed to ask and the ones you can never dare say. I find it damn near funny that most of you are reading this and know exactly what I mean. They put you on the path they've paved for you as kids we don't question it or even wonder if it's right for you. But beyond your paths edges is a land made up of risks and dangers. You feared it they tell you no good will come from it but how do you really know? Truth be told I was the girl who had her whole life planned out for her, straight A's, best friend, and two loving parents. I know what I wanted what I needed and I knew how to fight like hell for it. There's a reason why everyone prefers pretty lies over the bitter truth and it's usually because they can't handle the truth but I think the most likely thing is they can't handle what happens to the person once the truth comes out that's what happened to me. I was happy the way things were and then one day everything blew up in my face. Maybe the happy girl I was would have been happy living a lie for the rest of her life but no matter what the truth always comes out. So I ask you what would you have wanted the bitter truth or the pretty lie?
