When Dillon first arrives to the domed city of Corinth he locks himself down refusing to open up to anyone. Even through his stubborn persistence he finds himself connecting with the f/c ranger. At first these two can't stand each other and they often go at each other despite the sacrifice the f/c made for Dillon's safety when they first met. As time goes on the rangers warm up to each other and Dillon finds himself being oddly comfortable around her and vice versa. But, it doesn't end there. Dillon sees something in y/n that the other rangers don't, pain, remorse, regret, and sadness. As Dillon pushes to learn more about y/n in order to help her she only refuses not quite ready to open up completely to the black ranger. *Sneak peak: As soon as I hear a loud gasp I snap my head up to see the f/c ranger standing completely still, blocking my body from the monster with her own. After a few seconds of everyone standing in shock not sure of what just happened the f/c ranger is the first to move. She slowly crumples to her knees a bright light flashing at the same time. I'm forced to look away at the sudden painful light, but after a second or two once it's died down I look forward. Instead of finding the ranger standing directly in front of me I have to look down to see her kneeling clutching her right shoulder tightly. The only difference now is that the ranger no longer has a f/c hued suit protecting her and her identity.

~This book is currently finished but is ongoing for editing and changes~ I continue to look at him and his dark, blue eyes were burning through me, maintaining contact with mine as they didn't dare move away. He sure knows how to hold contact. My body was burning, every inch of it, I could feel it. It was getting way too warm in here. This man was making me feel things I didn't even know that was capable. I needed him. I certainly wanted him. I watched his gaze move down onto my lips as he pulls his bottom lip between his teeth. I didn't even notice how close he was to me until he stepped forward, closing the gap between us. I'm also baring in mind that my brother and his friends are literally right next door and here we are, being this extremely close to each other. That's what makes this even more nerve racking. One hand was holding my hip and his other hand was secured on my thigh, preventing me from falling down from the counter, his nose beginning to lightly touch the tip of mine as he lowered his forehead closer to me. The low part of my belly was aching him. I wanted him to do something. To fulfil my needs. I don't know where the hell the courage came from as the next two words fell out of me. "Kiss me." *** Aurora Rianne. A girl with painful memories from a troubled past that she does not like to be reminded of. But she can't help it as the nightmares continue to remind her of them when she falls asleep. She tries so hard to run away but they always reach her. Lyle Anderson. A man, also with a troubled past that's led him to have insomnia, but he does not like to talk about it. Nobody knows. He's never opened up to anyone. Until she came into his life. He finds himself feeling comfort in her presence and opens up, something he never thought he was capable of. When Aurora and Lyle meet, they don't know that the solution to their problems was each other. *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes
